EXCURSION STEAMER AGROUND
TWO OF CREW MISSING

(Received 29th Mav, 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The steamer .Favourite, carrying 150 passengers, ran aground at Botany Bay during the usual mid-week excursion. Two of the crew set out on a raft to secure assistance, but were soon in difficulties and when last seen in the early hours of the morning they were being rapidly borne seaward. Meanwhile passengers on the Favourite were taken ashore in launches.
