UNEMPLOYMENT
CABINET COMMITTEE REAPPOINTED

WELLINGTON, This Day.
The' reappointment of the Cabinet Unemployment Committee was announced by the Prime Minister, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, last night. The chairman will be the Minister of Lands (the Hon. E. A. Ransom), and the other members are the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. W. B. Taverner), and the Minister of Labour (the Hon. S. G. Smith). . The Prime Minister added that a good deal of preliminary work had been done concerning public works and planting operations, and it was expected that quite a number of additional men would be absorbed in the near future.
