BLOCKED TUNNEL CLEARED
TRAINS AGAIN RUNNING Relief gangs worked all yesterday afternoon on the slips at both ends of the Spooner’s range railway tunnel allowing the Nelson-Kawatiri train which bad waited at Bclgrove all day, to pass through the tunnel in the evening. The usual train services are running to-day.
IN THE CITY The weather cleared last evening and to-day was fine in the city although there are heavy clouds still about. The Cawthron Institute registered .63 of an inch for the 24 hours ending at 9 o’clock this morning, making 2.66 inches for ihe month, all of -Which lias fallen since Monday. The aggregate for the year is 9.47 inches.
