Four .Ball Competition. Entries for No. 1 four-ball competition close on Saturday. Since Hie competitions worn instituted lliey have proved popular, with some very close linishes.

Easter Tournament, Entries for Uio Ndsou Provincial Easier tournament close on Friday next. Already finite a number of entries have been received, and it is anticipated that the. total will be quite up to previous years. As usual, a strong contingent from the Wellington Clubs is expected.

Parking Cars. A start has boon made with a niinlinceded improvement—making provision for the parking of cars. A good deal of congestion has been caused in the past ; bat when the levelling off now in progress has been finished cars should be 'able to park with much less difficulty. '

Kirk=Windeyer Cup. The Kirk-Windever Cup will be. competed for on the Shirley links on loth unci 17th insts., between New Zealand and either Victoria or New South Wales. The representatives of the two Australian States are expected to play off on Monday next at Shirley to decide which i.s to defend the trophy. The Cup has been played for on three occasions. N,cw Zealand won the first match, New South Wales the second and Victoria the third. The personnel of the New South Wales Kirk-Windever Cup team is:—Dr. Sydney Jones. Dr. Lee Drown, W. R. Dobson, 11. The New Zealand selection, Duncan, Ross. Horton, Macfavlano and Black, are all reported to be in excellent form and returning figures justifying inclusion in any team.
