TWO BATHERS DROWNED

(Received 31st March, 10.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day,
Caught in a strong undertow at Black Head beach, near Ballina, a mar. named Nott, and. Mrs Piercey were swept out to sea and drowned. Mr Piercey was able to rescue his daughter, who was also in. difficulties. Nott's body has not been recovered.
