MAN AND WIFE KILLED CAR GOES OVER BANK (By Telegraph-Press Association) OPOTIKI, This Day. A shocking fatality occurred yesterday. F. Cracknell (CO), a Public Works employee, accompanied by his wife, was driving a car up Waioeka gorge and went over the side, and down a steep slope. The man was thrown out and killed instantly, and his wife received severe head injuries from which she> died in hospital last night.
