DECLINE IN PRICES (By Telegraph—Press Association) WANGANUI, This Day
Wool selling closed here to-day, about 8000 bales being submitted to a. good attendance of buyers. Bidding was keen up to a point, and was well spread among various sections of buyers. Bradford was prominent and probably secured I lie majority of ileece wools. Prices showed a decline on last sale, fleece being from a halfpenny lo a penny lower. .Medium, seedy, and shabby showed most decline. Coarse free wools were possibly nol more than a halfpenny lower. Pieces and bellies declined about a halfpenny to three farthings, ami lambs' up lo a penny.
