RIFLE SHOOTING
WAIMEA CLUB
The Waimea Defence Rifle Club held a competition on Saturday last, two seven-shot matches over 600 yards. Rifleman Maisey plucked Ching for the senior feathers, and Wilson defeated Max for the handicap feathers. Following arc the scores:--

Thomas 262, A. Thomas 261, Hammond 259, Irvine 258. Bowers Cup, 2nd Class Championship. —P. J. Wilson 919. Club's Handicap Cup.—(J. Ford 1157. Maisey 1152. Clung 1151, Wilson 1130, A. Thomas 1124.
