OAMARU, This Day. For the second day of the Oamaru Jockey Club's meeting there was windy weather a fast track and a fair attendance. Results:
Pacific Hurdles Handicap, of 140 sovs; one mile and a half —4 Mime, 1; 3 Whiffler 2; 1 Gavoma 3. All started. Won by live lengths'. Time, 2.45 3-5. Novice Stakes, of 110 sovs; six furlongs—4 Merry Peel, 1; 1 Appeal 2; 8 Master Anomaly, 3. Scratched: Corn Queen, Double Sault, Fair Money, Flaxbird, Royal Limond, Saxie, Valuator, Palada, Palmary, Tippling. Won by one an da-half lengths. Time, 14 3-5. Oamaru Cup Handicap, of 250 sovs; one mile and a quarter. —2 Money Mine, 1; 3 Don Jose, 2; 1 Stealth, 3. Also started: Mount Boa. Won by a neck. Time, 2.7 3-5.
