JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
ATHLETIC V. OLD BOYS CENTURIES TO M. GUY AND GLENDAY A junior championship match was played at Trafalgar Park on Saturday afternoon between Athletic and Old Hoys. Athletic won the toss and elected to bat, declaring the innings closed with six wickets down for 257 runs. When stumps were drawn Old Boys had two wickets down for 207 runs. The following are the chief scores :—■ Athletic: M. Guy 104 retired; L. Dela ney 25; F. Hockey 38; W. Delaney 50 not out. J Haycock 13; A. Chapman 17 not out. Old Hoys: Glenday 100. not out, Miller 91. Hunter 7 not out. Howling: Athletic—F. Hockey took one wicket for 41 runs, Haycock none .'or 48, Dore nemo for 22, H. Hockey none for 34, Mac Lean none for 11, Guv one for 26, L. Delaney none for 19. Old Hoys: Ricketts'two for 50. Hunter three for 58, Glenday one for 83. Blincoe none for 36, rainier none for 17.
