McCabe made his century in 80 minutes. _ It was a chanceless innings and contained fifteen fours. Woodfull batted solidly for seventy-one minutes. He hit three fours. James was the most troublesome bowler, taking five for 97. The bowling was accurate and the fielding smart. Nash made a fighting innings of ninety-four minutes and hit four fours.
