REFORM OF LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

SYDNEY, 7th March. The State Cabinet has fixed 17th May as the dale for the referendum on the plan for reforming the Legislative Council.
The Transport Bill in*the Legislative Assembly, which measure will give trusts and municipalities complete control over motor bus competition, passed after almost every clause, totalling 250, had been fought and closured by the. Government.
