At llio rurliiighlly meeting of Llic Tahunanui Town lion id held in the Town Hall there wore present: Messrs l'\ VV. Grcenslado (cliainnan), ('. J- h. 8011, (!. Cunningham, J. I- 0. Day, li. Ingham, M. O'Sullivaii. Accounts amounting lip iJ 116 4s were passed for 'payment. Messrs Glasgow and Rout, solicitors, forwarded amended 'granl of drainage rights through lot 47 from IS. A. 11. Bisley ami Co. to the Board.
"E.A. Duel asked the Board if it would fill in on the footpath side of fence in front of his property. (Deferred till next Board meeting). The Public Winks Department forwarded copy of proclamation proclaiming land as a street and street clbsccl in Block IV Waimea S.D. A. Gould advised that he had inspected and valued an area of land containing approximately 1 acre 2 roods 01.5 perches being part of the Moana Estate, and that he had placed the sum of £25 as a /air and reasonable value for the Jam! so required. .Messrs Glasgow and Bout, solicitors, forwarded transfer for the Board to sign vesting three sections in Mr E. A. ]I. Bisley and his two sisters. It was decided that the memorandum oi transfer of one acre two roods 01.5 perches he approved and the seal of the Board be atlixed thereto.
The tar lying on Rocks Road is to be utilised on the footpath from Moana Street, Beach Road, as far as it will go.
The footpaths are to be cleaned up whore necessary. It was decided to send a letter to the Harbour Board with reference to) debris lying on the foreshore.
