(By Telegraph—Press Association)
WANGANUI, 30th January
The fixing of a. minimum price for wool was opposed by the Wanganui Provincial Fanners' Union yesterday. The president, Mr T" dime, stated that the project seemed impossible. If the buyers were doing well they would buy well. If the growers tied the buyers' hands it would come back on their own heads.
Mr W. Morrison said that if other countries agreed to fixation it would be all right. A motion opposing a Wool Board and price fixing was carried.
