"THE DAY WILL COME" (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 4th December. That the day will come when scientists should be chosen as governors of British colonies instead of distinguished soldiers, sailors, and politicians, was a forecast by Sir Richard Gregory, presiding at the dinner of the Royal Empire Society in conjunction with the British Association for the advancement of Science.
