PORT OF MAPUA
-■ ■ COMPLAINT OF BEACON LIGHTS Two letters from the Anchor Shipping and Foundry Company asking that some improvement be carried out to the beacon lights at Mapua to enable shipping to work the port" with a greater margin of safety were dealt With at the Harbour Board meeting yesterday. Two cases of vessels having trouble bocause the lights had blown out were cited. It' was resolved that the Harbourmaster be asked to go into the matter as soon as possible.
