KING'S GIFT TO WIDOW (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian Press Association.—United Service) LONDON, 10th April. The Kirig sent a letter to the widow of the deceased clergyman "Woodbine Willie," enclosing a cheque and indicating that it was a personal gift and was not intended as a consideration to the public fund, on behalf of himself and son.
