SUNNY AND WARM

HOLIDAYS IN ENGLAND

EXODUS FROM LONDON

RUSH TO THE SEASIDE (Unitod Press Association—By Elootrie Telegraph-Copy richl) (Australian Press Association) LONDON, 28th March. A cloudless sky and mid-summer warmth are forecasted to continue throughout England during the holidays. This is wonderful consolation for one of the severest winters recorded. There were almost unprecedented scenes in London in the early morning. The whole of the vast road, rail, and boat organisations were taxed. Harrassed porters at Waterloo, Euston, Victoria, St. Pancras. and Liverpool street struggled all day to accommodate tens of thousands. The seasides at Brighton, Southend, Hastings, Ramsgate, Folkestone, Margate and Bognor are ablaze with decorations, and are teeming with attractions and are entirely booked out. Bathing is in full swing. Hundreds are pouring in who had not booked, and are camping on the warm beaches.
