WHEAT TESTS
(By Tolezraph.—Vror* Association) CIIRISTCIIURCII, 12th February. Testing of this season’s wheat for protein content is being carried out by the Wheat Research Institute in Christchurch. An arrangement lias been made with the threshing mill owners whereby a sample is provided from every fourth paddock thrcsliech Sonic of the samples have come in already and about three thousand aro expected. The Wheat Institute was established recently with the idea of improving the standard of wheat and Hour, and onabling bakers to make a uniform loaf.
