The Conservative leader, Mr Bennett, in the debate o-n the Address-in-Replv Held up for consideration Canada’s position with regard to the multi-lateral treaty for the outlawry of War. He condemned the violent language used by public men in the United States against Great Britain. “Eminent men and influential newspapers and periodicals, had charged Britain with a desire for war, we Canadians being entirely overlooked. When they talk of war against Britain they should understand that they are ialking of war , against Canada.”
