The Channel steamer Ville tie Liege, from Ostend, is stranded on llie rocks at Dover Harbour. The passengers, including twelve women, suffered severely from a biting wind. For two hours they were huddled on the ice-bound deck till the crew were able to lower the boats in heavy seas. A later message slates that the Ville de Liege sank. She carried 40 passengers and 60 of a crew. All were saved. The women were put into tho first boat and landed drenched and half frozen.
