LOST AT DOVER
CHANNEL STEAMER WRECKED 100 PEOPLE ON HOARD ALL SAVED United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright (Australian Press Association) LONDON, 12th February. The Channel steamer Ville tie Liege, from Ostend, is stranded on llie rocks at Dover Harbour. The passengers, including twelve women, suffered severely from a biting wind. For two hours they were huddled on the ice-bound deck till the crew were able to lower the boats in heavy seas. A later message slates that the Ville de Liege sank. She carried 40 passengers and 60 of a crew. All were saved. The women were put into tho first boat and landed drenched and half frozen.
