VISITING SWIMMERS

DEMONSTRATIONS TO COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS Misses Stockley (Auckland), Millar (Dunedin), and Hood (Hastings) arrived in Nelson this morning for the swimming carnival to-morrow night. They are staying at the Commercial Hotel. Misses Stockley and Millar were New Zealand’s swimming representatives at the Olvmpic Games. Miss Hood is a champion diver . This afternoon the visitors are giving a demonstration of swimming and diving to both Colleges. To-morrow afternoon similar, demonstrations will be given at the Municipal Baths for public school children. The three ladies leave for Westport and Greymouth on Friday morning.
