RICHMOND
BOROUGH COUNCIL MEETING The Richmond Borough Council held its bi-monthly meeting ill the Council Chambers last evening. There were present the Mayor (Mr Jas. Hunt), Councillors C. Webby, E. Smallbone, F. Lusty, W. Hill and E. W. Cross. Accounts amounting to £57 15s 6d were passed for' payment. The foreman’s report was received. Arising out of the report it was decided to have repairs done to No. 2 firo station. It was decided to call for tenders for a culvert over the Appleby road splash. Councillor Hill brought un the matter of main roads, suggesting that a loan be raised ip have Salisbury and Gladstone roads permanently sealed. It was decided to get an estimate on the cost of the work.
