CITY OF NELSON PROPOSED OLD SETTLERS’ MEMORIAL IN connection with the above i.t is desired to give a lantern lecture at an early date, descriptive of the early days in Nelson to inaugurate the movement for the establishment in the City of N.el son of an Early Settlers’ Provincial Memorial. For this purposo photographs of people who arrived in Nelson between the years 1842 and 1860 inclusive are required. Also pictures and photos of scenes of that period. Persons possessing such photographs and pictures and who are willing to,lend .the same are kindly requested to send them to the undersigned, giving the names and dates of arrival and localities pictured.
