It is announced that Professor Esau, of Jena, succeeded in sending ultrashort waves possessing peculiar properties, without an aerial, for a distance ot 250 miles. His sets, contained in a cigarbox, can be used for medical purposes. Small animals can be killed instantly, according to the “Thuringer Zcitung,” ami bacillus cultures annihilated.
