At the recent New Zealand University examinations, Mr S. Raymond Knapp passed in Advanced Education and History for the second section of the B.A. degree. Mr Knapp having completed his Training College course has been appointed to a probationary assistantship at the Sydenham School, Christchurch, under the headmastership of Mr W. A. Rumbold an ex-Xel-son teacher.
