BERLIN, sth January. ; Among the indications of Germany’s amazing recovery from the war, not tiie least is her gold' reserve revealed bv the Reichsbank return of £136,750,0U0 at the end of 1928, or more than double that of 1914. The reserve, which in October 1923, sunk as low as £20,000,000, now covers the German note issue to the extent of 55.4 per cent. •
