The King’s condition is still unchanged. Lord Dawson and Sir Hugh Rigby paid an hour’s visit to the Palace. Officials confirm His Majesty’s removal yesterday from the bedroom to the audience chamber, in which the Privy Council appointed the State Commission on 4th December. ...
It is now revealed that the comfiiunicating doorway was then left open to permit His Majesty cognising the proceedings.
STATIONARY PERIODS EXPECTED
LONDON, sth January. Disappointment was expressed that the King’s upward tendency reported this morning was so quickly interrupted, but no undue concern is shown. Stationary periods are expected at this stage. Lord Dawson did not call at the Palace this afternoon.
Dr. Ilowitt and Dr. Woods again ap plied ray treatment.
The Duke and Duchess of York dined 'with the Queen.
