MYSTERY SOLVED
MISSING WOMAN DISCOVERED IN GAOL United Press Association—By Electric Tel agraph—-Copyright
(Received 141 h November, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, Tiiis Day. Tbo woman reported yesterday as missing I rum her home at Paddington was discovered in Long Bay Gaol. She bad stolen a few trifling articles of clothing for her children on Friday night, and was arrested, and was so ashamed that she would not give her correct name or any address. She could have had sentence suspended if she had given her name and address and entered into a Lotah but she declined to do so and bad to go to gaol.
The police, noticing the similarity in the description of the missing woman and the prisoner, investigated and cleared the matter lip. Friends immediately came to (be woman's assistance and provided a bond. She was released and rejoined her family.
