POSTING THE RESULTS
ARRANGEMENTS BY “THE MAIL”
Complete preparations have been made by “The Mail” for posting the election and licensing results to-night. A large hoarding has been erected in front of the premises, and as the returns—both local and dominion—come to hand, they- will be made available to the public. The front premises of the “Mail” Office will be used entirely- by the staff and will be closed to the public. The receipt of the outside election returns will be assisted by a Grebe svncronhase seven supplied by The Wilkins and Field Hardware Coy., Ltd. NO TELEPHONE CALLS As “The Mail” staff will l;e particularly busy with the election returns, the public are notified that- no telephone calls will bo answered this evening. INVITATION TO CANDIDATES An invitation is extended to Mr H. Atmore and Mr F. W. O. Smith to speak from the “Mail” Office when the result of the local contest is known. SPECIAL EDITION On Thursday morning the full results of the elections will bo issued on a sheet and distributed free, to the public on application.
