The wool sales were resumed, third scries, and all sections of the trade competed strongly, notably France, Germany, Russia and Japan. The market was very firm and unchanged, although finer descriptions, of merinos showed a hardening tendency. Greasy merino sold to 28|cl, equalling the highest price this season.
