Present quotations for spot are:—Mutton: Fine, 'lss Gd to 46s per ewt; fair to good, 43s to 455; dark to dull, 40s 6(1 to 41s. Beei. Output Ist Januarv to 31sl October 1,141,000 hales, against 1.032,000 same period last year. (Stocks in Manila on 31st October 147.000 bales, against 177,000 same time last year, and in Great Britain 16,894 bales," against 4774. Sisal market little easier. No. 1 for February/April shipment, sold £3B 10s. Tow: Moderate business has been done. Values are: No. 1, £27 lo £27 10s; No. 2, £25 to £25 10s, according to quality and position.
