MR BLACK AND NO-CONFI-DENCE
(To tho Editor.)
Sir.— At the dnsc of MV Black's meet ing at MurHiison on Saturday evening In; was asked who lie would support on n no-i'onfidonco motion, and the candidate again refused to be drown out into the open. He left tlio meeting as much iu doubt as before Urn question was asked. Ho is evidently Hilling with both sides and no Labour supporter can say that he will support Mr Holland and nro supporter of Mr Coates can say he will oppose .Mr Holland. It remains to be seen whether his failure to take the electors into his confidence on this vital question will win for him the confidence of either .or both sections of the electors.—J am. etc., ELECTOR,
