POVERTY BAY TURF CLUB SINGLETON WINS AGAIN SECOND HURDLES TO JEN (By Telegraph--Press Association) GISBORNE, 27th October.

For the concluding day of the Poverty Bay Turf Club races the weather was cold and showery.' The track was holding. Results: — Matawhero Handicap, of 130 sovs; one mile.—-2 Tea Lady, 8.0 (Walsh), 1; 4 Toka, 7.7 (C. Davis), 2; 3 Polbnett, 9.11 'Wiggins), 3; 1 Cool Card, 9.8 (France), 4. Won by a neck; three and a half lengths between second and third horses. Time, 1.47 4-5. Bongo also started.
