For Northern district against Manly Buckle made 123, and Thomas 79; for Paddington against Waverley, Asher made 103; for St. George against Western Suburbs, Rembert made 92 and Mealev 71; for Gordon against University, Sullivan made 84 not out; for Marrickville against Randwick, Alderton made 83; for Mosman against Petersham, Salmon made 72. Bowling for Paddington Gregory took six for 39; for Western Suburbs Burt took seven for 73; for Petersham Andrews took four for 53. A feature in the great public school matches was Terry’s splendid batting for King’s School against Scots. He made 245 not out.
