LONDON, 27th October. The executive of the Miners’ Federation decided to summon a special conference of delegates to consider the position of Mr Cook, the secretary. This is a sequel to the accusation that Mr Cook, in the early stages of the coal strike in 1926, signec, a secret document drawn up by intermediaries, containing favourable suggested terms of settlement, which were not disclosed to the executive.
