WEDDING

M YTTON—WILLIAMS A wedding of interest to the residents of Richmond and the surrounding district took place at Knox Church, Reefton, on Wednesday last. Elizabeth, second daughter of the late Mr W. Williams and Mrs Williams, of Boiler road, Reefton, was married to Keith Vernon youngest son of Mr and Mrs Mytton of Richmond. The bride was given, away by her uncle, Air E. Whittle. She wore a. dress of silk lace and white crepe de chine. She was attended by three bridesmaids —Misses Jennie and Alaisie Williams, sisters of the bride, and Miss Bessie Houston, a. cousin. There was also a little flower girl, Miss Williams, a cousin. Tiie bridesmaids wore becoming frocks of ecru, mauve, and pink crepe, de chine respectively, the dresses being relieved with silk lace. Each bridesmaid wore a bandeau to match her dress. Yfr Tlios. Lnmbertoa was best, man, and the groomsmen were Messrs D. Houston and K. ATeDonald. Friends of Hie bride had decorated the church beautifully. The Rev. F. E. Dibbs, of Totara Flat, officiated. A pleasing feature of the assemblage was the attendance of the school children, former pupils of the bride. They gathered in full force and loudly cheered the wedding party as they motored to, the home of the bride’s mother where a reception was held. The honeymoon will be spent in the North Island. The bride’s travelling dress was of grey tweed with hat and shoes to match.
