His father, Sir James Fergusson, was Governor of New Zealand in 1873-74. ‘LOCAL PICTURES” (Nelson): (1) It is the Christmas Annual of the “Otago Witness” that contains (among other fine illustrations) the Ohristchurch-Kaikoura-Nelson-Buller pictures to which you refer.
