CASH SALES MADE ABROAD^
LONDON, 17th October. In order to counteract the losses caused by the cessation of grain exports, the Soviet is organising cash sajes abroad of wild beasts and birds for Western menageries, says the Riga correspondent of the "Times". It is equipping expeditions to capture bears, foxes and wolves in Russia, Siberia, Turkestan and the Arctic. . A London dealer has already ordered 15 Himalayan bears, SO camels, and other animals. A Hamburg firm has ordered 10 Polar bears. The Soviet is arranging with Oerman firms to supply zoos throughout theworld.
