LOCAL CRICKET
MATCHES POSTPONED The Trafalgar Park senior cricket wicket is too wet for play to-morrow, and so the senior match there has been postponed. The wet weather has also caused the Mercantile Houses v. Post and Telegraph and the junior match at Tahuna to be abandoned. The Richmond Cricket Club has withdrawn its junior team from the championships, leaving eight teams in the competition. Old Boys v. College at Vanguard street, 2 p.m.: Ricketts, Miller. Quinton, Hawke, Leahy, Busch (2), McCoombs, Turley, Evans, Simpson, Croft. SIX-BALL OVER. AND TIME OF PLAY The number of balls in the over and the time for plav will be the same this season as last —six balls to the over and play from 2 until 6.30 o'clock each afternoon.
