A serious lire is raging at the Porlumna technical schools, Ireland, whfcn Piineess "Mary recently visited. It is feared the blaze will spread lo an adjoining convent. Telephonic communication from Fortumna was mysteriously cut off after the first appeal for the Limerick brigade''.*; assistance. The distance was too great for them to respond.
