TRUCK DERAILED
MISHAP ON MAIN TRUNK
EXPRESSES DELAYED (By Telegraph—Press Association) MAR-TON, This Day. When the norlli-boumi goods train which leaves Martoii at 4 o’clock was nearing .Mangaohoro station about 6 o'clock last evening a truck became derailed, and before the engine crow were aware of the fact eight others followed. The train was brought to a standstill before much damage was done to the track. Breakdown gangs worked hard to clear the track, but it was necessary to delay both (lie north-bound expresses at Marton. The ordinary express arrived at 6 o’clock, and was held until 2.38 this morning, being joined with the Limited, which arrived at 11 p.m. The service is now back to normal.
