CLOTHES CATCH FIRE
A WOMAN SERIOUSLY BURNED (By Telegraph—Press Association) CARTERTON, This Day. Mrs Albert Hooker, aged 60, was seriously burned this morning through her clothes catching fire wvile washing. The flesh of one arm was almost completely destroyed, while her legs and body were shockingly .burned. . She, was alone in the house at the time, but managed to put the flames out. She was removed in a serious condition to the Masterton Hospital for treatment.
