The New South,’ Wales Government has decided .to ’amend the Advances for Homes Act whereby the Government Savings' Bank’ will help people to build their own homes. Borrowers will now be able to obtain loans up to £IOOO instead of £750, in addition to securing up to 90 per cent, of the value of the security. Loans Will be restricted to applicants with incomes up to £SOO.
