FRUIT CONTROL BOARD ELECTION
STOKE TO NOMINATE AIR A GILBERT
At a meeting of the executive of the Stoke Fruitgrowers’ . Association last night it was unanimously decided to nominate Air A. Gilbert for the FruitControl" Board. It was pointed out that Air Gilbert had for many years rendered excellent service to the fruit industry, and members of the executive expressed pleasure that he was prepared to offer his services at what was considered a critical time in the industry. Tt was stated that Air Gilbert would address growers in various parts of the province. _ . The Stoke executive decided to give him every assistance in his campaign, as it was thought highly desirable that at. the present time there should be additional direct Nelson representation cm the Fruit Control Board.
