SYDNEY, Bth August. • S. Y. Maling writes to the “Sun” newspaper to-day expressing surprise at the hue and cry raised over his socalled disappearance, stating that pending .the appeal against the recent sentence imposed upon him he is taking a holiday to recuperate his health, which had 'suffered owing,to the ordeal through which he had been passing. ,Maling says that, if 'required as a wetness he can be . communicated with through his legal advisers.
