PETROL REBATE
AUCKLAND DECISION
(By Telegraph.—Special to “The Mail”) AUCKLAND, 6th August, Wholesale distributors of petrol in Auckland have decided to give a special rebate as from yesterday «£ Id per gallon on .petrol, provided payment is marie within seven days of delivery. Following upon this announcement retailers have decided to allow a rebate of Id to consumers who take quantity lots of from 100 to 250 gallons, and of lld when from 250 to SQO gallons is taken. For smaller quantities the rate remains at 2s per gallon for first grade and Is lOd for second.
