JOURNEY THROUGH SUEZ CANAL

People from all parts of Egypt flocked to Ismalia to watch the Singapore dock successfully enter the last stage of t.ie journey, through the canal. The trip has so far been carried out without a hitch. CANAL SAFELY TRAVERSED (Received Bth August, 12.20 p.m.) SUEZ, 7th August. • The Singapore dock passed through the canal without incident.
