ATTEMPT TO BURN SHED • An apparent attempt was made last night to set fire ,10 a small shed at the rear of R. Dayman and Co’S garage in Trafalgar street. Fortunately the fire was discovered at 10 o’clock before it had gained any hold and a bucket or two of water was sufficient to extinguish. it. Some straw and crumpled paper had obviously been, set on fire and then stuffed underneath the door of the shed.
