An event, probably unprecedented in Europe, occurred at Budapest 'in a Roman Catholic church, when a mixed majrriagej was consecrated before the altar. • _ . The bridegroom was an Israelite insurance manager and the bride a Catholic. They received the Pope's special permission and wedded with full Catholic ceremonial. The church was crowded.
